Multiple select does not get replaced in search form

Hello,

I might be understanding the functionality of this module wrong, but while it works fine in the node edit pages, the multiple select of my search form is not being transformed into another type of select. I did check off 'node form only'. It displays taxonomy terms.

Any ideas?
