Checkbox descriptions need theming

The checkbox descriptions look OK when its long (multiple lines, e.g. for the Personal Contact form setting in user profiles) but when its short it looks odd (my favorite design criticism - nothing should ever look odd...).

If you look at this screenshot you would be forgiven for not knowing which field the description applied to at first glance - what if another checkbox follow this and has no description?

The descriptions look divorced from the setting (not closely visually connected) and are quite inconsistent with other field descriptions (they are indented by system.css - why system.css is doing this lord only knows...). One things that perhaps descriptions could also be a smaller font size.
