Hi,

The module is supposed to remove the username field on the edit page aswell, but it doesn't for me. And if i edit anything it throws an error "You must enter a username."

These are two separate problems:
1. The error "You must enter a username." appears only with users who where already registered before the Auto Username module was installed. The error seems not to appear with new users.
2. The username field disappears with the following patch.
