Situation: I'm planning to use the Book module to post a book on my site, and I want to know whether it's any good, and if people are interested in reading it.
Objective: I'd like to find an analytics program that will enable me to track how many people read it, how far they read, and where they lose interest and click away. Rather like the "sales funnel" feature in the "goals" section of Google Analytics. But unlike Analytics, I'd like something that is not limited to merely four ten-click funnels.
Request: Does anyone have suggestions that may help me accomplish my objective?

Have you tried piwik as an alternative to google analytics already ? I'm sure that you can define "Goals" in piwik and a lot of user-tracking "stuff"..
