Custom block module project

I've got a small Drupal module project available for a suitable developer.

The requirement is for a module that will produce a single custom block which will be assigned to a region in the sites theme.

The site admin must then be able to define an unlimited number of Drupal paths, and assign each path an image. Paths must support wild cards (like other Drupal path functionality) so that a partial path can be matched to a single image.

Images are stored in a sub-directory of the sites 'files' directory. Images are preset and do not need to be uploaded by the module. The module will need to scan this images directory and produce a drop down select list of available images to choose from.
