I've started writing an intro for the guitar which can either be played on it's own or with the piano, the attached file is a recording for review by the community. Any suggestions are welcome.

Once marked as RTBC we'll need to patch the guitar player, someone might have to chase his moving head.

Apologies for the WMA format and the soft recording, I haven't setup my development environment properly yet.

Great tune! I like the idea of a clean guitar melody on top (in the intro or perhaps during the verse as well).

I'm a bit hesitant about the last five notes, though. There are three Gs in a row, which I would like suggest changing to G-A-G instead. The form would then be:

<tabs>
-3---3---2---2---0---0---3-5-30--
---3---3---3---3---1---1-------3-
---------------------------------
---------------------------------
---------------------------------
---------------------------------
</tabs>

How about that?

Perfect, I was having trouble finding something that fitted but that's exactly what it needs...... it's like a module to my theme.

My only thought was I originally played it in a different octave:

<tabs>
------------------------------------
-8---8---7---7---5---5---8-10-8----
---7---7---7---7---5---5-------9-7-
------------------------------------
------------------------------------
------------------------------------
</tabs>

Perfect. Playing it higher up on the frets looks much more metal.

LMAO, exactly!!!!! But apart from that I felt it sounded better with what's being played on the keyboard when you play it at a higher octave.
