Description

admin/settings/node says that 'Unlimited' is supposed to disable teasers.

By setting the Length of trimmed posts to Unlimited - it seems to present the entire text.

What am I doing wrong? ... I just want to disable the teasers on the pages so that I will have a list of the pages and no teasers.

See screenshot.

Please advise.

that is what unlimited is supposed to do. show all text.

what you are looking to do is change the default front page. which can be done in administer -> settiings -> default front page
change the setting there (which is set as node) to a specific node you create.

the creation of this page is up to with how you want it to work. you mention a list of the pages. I'm not sure what you mean by pages.

I do not have "default front page" in the settings - is that a module that I should add?

when you say the settings I do not mean taxonomy dhtml. i mean adminster -> settings -> general settings

default front page is part of core.
