Not a critical problem but blogapi / XMLRPC doesn't trigger the pathauto url aliases for posts. I tried posting page posts and story posts through the third-party tool Ecto. Can provide more info if needed. This is probably not the fault of pathauto but i figured this was a place to report the problem.

It could very well be the fault of pathauto.

Can you confirm which version of Pathauto you are using? It's in the top of the file.

I had this problem with previous versions, but upgrading to 1.22.9 2006/10/23 seems to fix it for me.
