In older versions of fastgallery, there was a feature which replaced the folder image with an image from the (sub)gallery. I really liked it. Any chance to see this implemented in fastgallery again?

rapsli commentedI actually thought this was working again... you have to name the file folder.jpg
let me know if this works

lowskilla commentedI am able to replace the folder.jpg with my own folder.jpg. But i can only set globally a picture for all galleries.
What I liked in old versions is the ability to automatically set a picture from the gallery as the folder picture. (as far as I remember it was the first picture in the gallery)

JimRound commentedThis feature is working, just make sure EACH FOLDER you wish to replace the standard image for has a file named folder.jpg in it, that way you can replace the standard folder icon for any folder in your gallery.
That said it would be nice if there was a way to do this without having to create a dedicated image, or if the folder.jpg was hidden when the gallery was viewed.
