May be PHP 5.3.3 issue

My configuration is:
Windows 2003 server, Apache 2.2.15 (Win32) DAV/2 SVN 1.6.12 PHP 5.3.3

I saw following message several times:

warning: Parameter 3 to bitcache_bitcache() expected to be a reference, value given in E:\data\repos-frontend\includes\module.inc on line 483.

I suppose this is some incompatibility with PHP 5.3.3 that may break the code when PHP 6.x.x comes.
