Player button has to be clicked twice?

Although generally pleased with the player and the module, I have a problem that I haven't found described, here.

When first loggin onto the site, it requires TWO clicks of a button to play an audio clip. After it has once played, it seems to subsequently play with only one click.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any idea how to go about solving this one?
