irakli commentedIt's certainly possible and very easy to implement. It also does not need to do anything on node save, input filters have their own caching mechanism that takes care of all of that.
But I thought Shorten had a feature like that? No? I would not want to duplicate the functionality if Shorten already has it, since Shorten works really well with ShortURL.

z33k3r commentedIf this is the case, I haven't been able to figure it out per settings... Current situation is that I have a multisite configuration (site-a, site-b, etc where site-a is the main site and site-b is my short domain site). I would like Site-A to be able to auto filter content urls to Site-B's shortener as that is the short url etc etc... Is that possible and if it is, can somebody point me to the correct documentation? Thanks!

irakli commentedPlease ask in the Shorten module's issue queue if the module already does what you want or if they have immediate plans to add such functionality. If the answer to both of these questions is a "no" then I can implement it in ShortURL.
And by "what you want" I mean input filter. Using an arbitrary domain for shortening is something you can already do.
Thank you

mably commentedThis issue was filed against the previous Drupal 6/7 module that used this project namespace.
The namespace has been taken over and the module has been replaced by a completely new and unrelated project for Drupal 10/11.
The original code remains available in the 6.x-1.x branch.
Closing this issue as it no longer applies to the current module.
