Gllitch using Organic Groups and Phoneblogz.

It appears as if the phoneblogs are not automatically designated as "Public" under the Organic Groups group setting. This means that even though "technically" they are published, they can't actually be seen by people who don't have "admin node" privileges [ under the > access control settings]...

This is a significan glitch..

Title: Postings are not automatically set to "Public" [under the groups setting for Organic Groups] » messages *cannot* be read by anyone who does not have “admin” node privileges

When I post my phoneblog messages, it turns out the messages *cannot* be read by anyone who does not have “admin” node privileges.

I figured out that this is because the default Organic Groups module setting for these posts from phoneblogs is **not** public. [See the attached jpg for clarification]. Is there any way to make sure that the phoneblogz postings get set to “public” under the organic groups settings? Otherwise, no one can read the posts. [Organic groups, as I’m sure you know, is one of the most popular drupal modules…]

Thanks for your swift reply.

Well, I need to get this out of beta and working so I decided to patch it myself.

It took me about 4 hours to track down, but here's the fix attached so that it's compatible with og.
