I mentioned it earlier between the lines in another issue http://drupal.org/node/890518#comment-3359550 ; what main issue has been resolved. It's not the way to mix issues, so therefore I open here its separate one:

With CKEditor (through WYSIWYG) I don't get a button for the qtip feature.

(don't see additional text either about additional options like for qtip, but that I probably have to select somewhere in my very extensive admin settings)

How can we get buttons of qtip inside the best editors; presumable: WYSIWYG, CKEditor, Whizzywig and XStandard - as separate modules, but even more as add-on editor within the WYSIWYG?

For sites where a lot of people can post and respond, it would be more easy and feature rich, if we can make it easy for them to quickly find all the editing features (back), while a button can be quicker than thinking about the format and typing the code.

This issue has to be filed at all these editors, not even at their drupal modules? Or do some Drupal modules already have an integration of new editing features that another module like qtip can 'throw to them' if it uses the proper way to do so?

Sorry, I did forget to respond to this question in your previous post.

This is something that would probably be a good thing to implement. As I have never used any of the WYSIWYG editors (and therefore haven't looked into implementing a module into them) I am assuming that this would take some work to get figured out (although I could be wrong)!

Do you know if any of the other tooltip modules implement a feature like this?

If you (or anyone else) would like to submit a patch to implement this that would be very helpful! I will definitely look into this as I think it would be a good addition (and hopefully draw more people to use qTips), I'm just not exactly sure when I will be able to release it since I don't have a clue as to how long it would take to get setup!

Thanks for your feature request! Please continue to submit any others, or bug reports, that you come across (and thanks for posting them in different issues. It helps others refer to similar issues without having to go through a bunch of non-related stuff)!

I have mentioned it at:

Thanks for taking the initiative on this! I will watch that thread and see what people respond with!

Status: Active » Closed (won't fix)

This has become rather old and I do not have the time at the moment to look into integrating this into WYSIWYG. Please reopen if you have any other comments on this issue.
