Great Job! Prameya
For last couple of months, I tried to survey, read one after another forum to find the CMS that is the best on Internet and also suits my needs. In fact, I installed one after another, and finally, saw a forum where comparisons were done among top 5 CMS software / freeware. The reviewer said that they were initiall testing 5 different CMS and checking their performances, and finally, Drupal and Joomla were selected as the top most two in the final selection for performance tests. Well, Joomla and Drupal became my final destinations. I had hard time selecting the best one that could help me set CMS for my websites. Based on the reviews, I wanted immediate installation and run a solution, and joomla provided it for one website (e.g. http://www.kantipur.org ). Then, I wanted a more versatile solution that is flexible, and I continued to explore Drupal, and tried to find several reviews. I installed it at my website that I want to dedicate it to the betterment of my profession: http://www.geotechnical.org/ . At this moment, I am trying to configure the Drupal CMS based website, and add more add-ins and also trying to check the fellow Drupal powered websites. I am proud to find that cjnepal.org is using Drupal CMS. It has further reinforced my confidence on Drupal CMS, my effort and determination to make my website worth to the world through the Drupal CMS. I will try to follow the footsteps of CJNepal.org and configure it to suit my need. Thanks to Prameya for letting us know.
At this moment, I want to address a few problems that I am facing when I try to login to my Drupal CMS based websites. (1) it accepts username and password, but it does not let me go inside the administrator or user interface. It shows under current user's ID list, but it does not allow me to use it as a logged in user. It simply neglects my attempts to login and do something as a registered user. It usually happens when I attempt to use multiple domains pointed to the same website. Have you ever faced such problems? What are your recommendations or solutions to such problem? Were you able to sort out such problems? (2) Discussion forum: I wanted to make my discssion forum much better, but the current discussion forum (that comes with Drupal 4.7.x) is not versatile to my expectation. Is there anyway, I can integrate with other widely used discussion forums like PhpBB or its variants?
(3) As you know, TLDs targetting mobile communication equipments began to work recently, and I want Drupal Theme be available for Mobile domains (e.g. http://www.egs.mobi). Does your website address such mobile equipment issue: surfing the Drupal CMS based websites via Mobile Communication Equipments? If so do you have any themes available for us? I tried to modify current theme, performance of the home page was not that bad, but its hard to make it work for all child pages. You recommendations will be appreciated.
At the end, I wish you a great sucess to the event. I will looking forward to hearing your inputs and experiences on these issues.
Regards.
