I haven't checked d7 specifics but code looked alright to me. I'm a bit out of date with d7.

I can get the patch to apply, but it's not currently applied to HEAD. Re-opening so that we can launch a D7 release.

Nope. The commit didn't work somehow. I pulled from CVS head and downloaded the version. The code simply wasn't there. Your patch applied pretty cleanly, though, so no complaints in that I was able to make it work. In other words, thanks for the patch, it moved things a great deal down the road. :-)
