Hi,

I use URL Aliases a lot for new pages with no problem. I want to do something slightly different and cannot see a way around this, but before I do the work wanted to check.

Basically I when a user registers on a site if they have a username of say BERNARD, I would like the reference to their homepage to be www.mysite.com/bernard. So when a user registers on the site I need to setup an automatic alias which goes from the name across to the www.mysite.com/user/1 page.

Is there a way of doing this automatically or is it something I just need to hook into myself?

That's easy. Just install the Path Auto module http://drupal.org/project/pathauto and it will let you setup all this stuff automatically...
