Doesn't work if I put the span tags inside of an <li></li>

First, let me say I LOVE your snazzy little module...it makes my blog look so much better! I have, however, noticed that the pull quotes don't appear if I put the span inside of list item tags. Not sure if this was just a silly thing to do on my part, or what.
