Drupal Webmaster & Site Administrator
We are a Canadian Internet Marketing Consultancy Firm looking to have a current Drupal site maintained, updated and further developed on an on-going basis by an individual located within a reasonable distance to Ottawa, Ontario.
Our client requires a single Drupal Developer/Webmaster as a company resource for fulltime monthly work. We currently have a development team resource as a backup, that our candidate would be working with directly to get up to speed and could access when scalability is required. Job Description:
-Seeking a Long-Term Partner to work in Drupal from Concept to Execution, and Maintenance including Site Administration (eg. changing permissions, updating menus and navigation systems, customizing existing site etc.)
-Intermediate to Advanced Drupal Developer to provide a multitude of services including web development and theming
-Able to make quick changes on the website, as necessary
-Able to install, upgrade or modify existing modules on site
-One point of contact with dedicated Project Manager preferred
-Provides reasonable access by phone/email for issues and emergencies
-Tracking System in place for reporting and issues management
-Manages the development team to ensure all tasks are achieved
-Acts as a scaleable resource, with speed and efficiency paramount
-Drupal Theming is Necessary (working within Drupal 6)
-Must know PSD (Photoshop Designs) to Drupal, CSS, JQuery, mySQL & Drupal Optimization
-Can maintain ongoing development on existing sites and add new features (and install modules etc.)
-Manages, edits, updates and maintains the site (this includes all development work: CSS/Theming, Drupal, jQuery, etc.)
-Ensure Safe Deployment Solutions are in place
-Handles domain name issues, registrations, set-up, email issues, overall maintenance
-Utilize/manage Amazon S3 and online backup servers
Project Management & Communication
-Will communicate via Skype Voice or Telephone (Skype Preferred)
-In-person meetings at times may be helpful for discussions, if possible
-Trustworthy, Looking to Build a Long-Term Relationship
-References are a major plus (especially by phone)
Preference Given to Candidates with a Background In:
-Module Development
-Portfolio with a Design Aesthethic
-Ability to do Theming/Design changes on site (turning Photoshop into CSS)
Bonus:
