Hi,

I am using search module in my site. This was developed by some other person. Now I am maintaining this.
Now I want to know how to set search settings?

My search module shows the result from Pages and Forums only. It didn't get content from blogs.
In admin --> Site Configuration --> Search Settings page having an option Index. What it means?

Can anyone please explain me that and how to set where from the content will be shown while searching?

Rather than clicking on indexing button just click on the run cron manually and it will re-index your site completely. Don't force Drupal to index manually so much.
Drupal will do it's work as you set in your cron job.
