Hello folks. I come to you a bit desperate and in hopes that Drupal will solve my problems. I have two seperate needs from this software and I hope you can tell me if it is possible and if so... exactly how I may go about achieving it:

SITE #1
-----------------------
- This site needs to be broken into 4 "major sections" each with a "set" of navigation links
- This site's content needs to be able to be changed by individual users, but approved by an administrator before going "live"
- Preferably - the 4 different "major sections" would be individually theme-able

SITE #2
-----------------------
- This site needs to have lots of users each with a blog, gallery, and access to the forum/PM's

Are these SEPERATE ideas possible? thanks!!

- This site needs to be broken into 4 "major sections" Many ways to do this, depends on exactly what you want, though using taxonomy would make the 3rd point easy each with a "set" of navigation links should be doable, though what you mean by "set" will determine how easy and approach

- Preferably - the 4 different "major sections" would be individually theme-able Yes, more than one approach possible, depends on how you implement the sections

Yes to blogs, there are ways to get individual galleries and the people can have access to the forums

Thanks so much. I'm a sucker for CSS so I will put off learning Drupal and I'm going to work on mockups for now... but thanks... Now I can look forward to playing around with Drupal in the weeks to come!!
