Macro doesn't work if block is not enabled

I installed the module and started testing with all the features.

I created a new page with the

[googleajaxsearch|target=blank|state=open|mode=linear|searcher=web|searcher=blog|searcher=video|searcher=local|initialsearch=NYC|place=New York,NY]

in it, (and I have enabled the filter)

This worked perfectly until I disabled the sidebar block.
When the block was disabled, I got errors about GSearchControlnot beind defined (if I remember correctly)

Test this,
enable the sidebar block,
create a new page, add the code above (in a format which accepts the filter)
Save the page.
That page works...

Now disable the sidebar block.
Go back to the page you created.... and it just shows nothing.
