Changing page-blog.tpl.php to accomodate advanced blog users and default users

Issue Summary

Hi,

i have a small but annoying problem. I'm using advanced blog to give my users the option to change their blog titles. However, when they do on their blog titles it is adding in the default 'Blogs' onto the end of the title so we end up with the new blog title plus blog blog in their title.

Is there a bit of code I can put into my page to tell it to distinguish between the blogs that have been altered by advanced blog and not to prepend the word blog onto the end of it?

Another question is, has anyone ever managed to make their users pick a mandatory blog title before they start blogging?
