jeremycaldwell commentedCan you double check to make sure your theme is enabled and set as the default theme? Sometimes it is enabled but not set as default so the Skinr styles disappear.
Tino commentedHi Eternalistic!
Acquia Prosper is enabled as the default theme, Fusion core is also enabled, Skinr module as well.
It used to work just fine, but all of a sudden I cannot set general theme styles or common theme styles anymore on two of my websites.
Another website which I haven't touched in a few months still works as expected. That site is still running Prosper 6.x-1.0-beta4 and Drupal core 6.17, but I am not sure if that is the cause.
I completely uninstalled and reinstalled Skinr and Fusion, but that did not help either.
The problem only appears to be present for content types.

jeremycaldwell commentedInteresting.. what version of Drupal are you running? And have you tried to clear the site cache on the Performance page? I would check that and be sure that CSS and JS and page compression and all that is disabled for these tests. Then try to change the Skinr style again to see if it works.
Tino commentedIt is (interesting)...
Done all that (more than once). Running Drupal core 6.19.
Since I am still developing, no caching or compression is enabled...
Still not possible to change skinr style within a content type.
nomonstersinme commentedI can confirm this as a bug with Acquia prosper. I was previously using the beta version and i would see all the acquia prosper skinr styles to choose from. However after updating to 6.x-1.1 these are gone and i'm seeing exactly what @10o is seeing.
The problem is that for all of the styles declared in acquia prosper's .info file none of them are applied to the feature 'node.'
I've attempted to create a patch which is attached... :) (never submitted a patch so i hope it works)
Tino commentedI downgraded Acquia Prosper from 1.1 to 1.0 again and all is fine.
Ergo, it's a bug in 1.1.
jeremycaldwell commented@nomonstersinme, good catch! And thanks for the patch too.
I'll go ahead and make this change and be sure it gets in the next release of the theme. For now here are the changes in non-patch format for those who need this feature and don't know how to apply patches.
These changes go in the "acquia_prosper.info" file.
Search for:
And replace with:
Then search for:
And replace with:
Be sure to clear your site cache on the performance page so you know it reloads the updated theme file. Now you should have access to the Skinr styles per content type. Please give this a try and if it works correctly it will be in the next release of the theme.
Tino commentedI manually applied the proposed changes in the previous post to the "acquia_prosper.info" file.
It works!
Thanks a lot!
jeremycaldwell commentedThanks for testing it 10o, will get this into the next release of the theme.

Doogy1st commentedHello eternalistic,
I am blowing my head apart trying to find where to choose comments style with Acquia Prosper 1.1 and Skinr 1.6 installed. And same thing for the content types. Where to choose their styles? The Skinr settings page is empty (apart from links to documentation).
Thanks for help.
jeremycaldwell commented@Doogy1st, go to your content type's configuration page and there will be Skinr options at the bottom of the page. From there you can choose whatever Skinr styles you want for comments or anything else that is designed to be targeted by the node.
