Bookmarking my site, and then when I click on the newly added bookmark, the site opens in a new sidebar instead of the current page.

This happens to both on Windows and Mac.... IE 7 does not even display the block.

This doesn't seem be ot an issue with the module. With your browser configuration? I havn't tested on IE7 and not sure about functionality there.

Strange...

A friend of mine on a Mac and firefox had the same problem.

This is for both firefox 1.5 and IE7
