I try to use User points Nodes and Comments and did not setup comment points ,but I found I can not set Points for posting comments per node type. It just didn't store the data at all.

BTW, I use dev version for three modules.User Points Contributed modules;User points Nodes and Comments;and userpoints core module.

FWIW seems to be working fine here. You have "points settings" in administration CP?

Setting points for comment works fine but not working for Points for posting comments per node type.
first, I set points for comment to Zero.
second , set Points for posting comments per node type, for example, points for posting a comment on forum topic to 2.
Then, save.
check again , point for posting a comment on forum topic still is zero.

I have the same issue and it reacts exactly the same as described above.

Uninstalling user points nodes and comments solves the problem.

Per the above, I am assuming this is an inter-module conflict that affects only some users. Lowering priority.

NOTE: the Community does seem to have a problem with issues that span multiple modules, we may be able to address in the new Support system.
