Hi there,
When I used phpbb2drupal to import old phpBB posts into my new Drupal forums, I came across the following problem: while everything was succesfully imported (including a few users I hadn't imported via en earlier method) the resulting forum posts were all signed by anonymous. In other words, the users and the forum posts they made ceased to be coupled.
As I figure that is not how the module is supposed to work, I wonder what went wrong. I used the module on a Drupal installation that already contained most of the users and in which the forums were already in use.

I hope you didn't try to import on your live site!
This is a fairly complex module that has not been used by many people (and since it is enough to use only once, the people who did use it almost never bother providing positive feedback and improvements).
Anyhow, the module does not import the users from phpBB if the users already exist in Drupal (most of the time, people have an existing phpBB forum, and an empty Drupal site).
Is your Drupal site live?
How did you import the users to the new site? Did you ask them to re-register with the same name?
