Background incorrect in main (but not all) tunymce editor window...

Description
The background in the 'main' tinymce 'wysiwyg' editor window is painted as dark blue (from the main page background?) rather than white - with the default text colours this results in a page that is very hard to edit. The same does NOT happen in other entry panes where tinymce appears.
Any quick work around that does not involve changing the text to white (because then it will die on the site when presented to users) would be appreciated. I cannot find the code segment where the tinymce editor window is made up.
