Why aren't users allowed to edit their own posts, although they may edit or delete their own comments?
Sometimes I find typos after prevewing and submitting a forum post. Thanks.

you mean on drupal.org or your own website??

permission issues may be? you probably already tried access control... if its on ur site...

they dont allow editing your post most of the time... you can try emailing the moderators if you want...
