2 different url for one forum ?

When you are within the core forum and you click an og forum the URL is something like e.g.

node/663/og/forum/8550

But when you are on the group page and you click the tab Forums you get soemthing like

node/663/og/forum

so without 8550

Is this intended? This is causing problems with block visibilities, context help ....
