I am currently running Drupal 6.19, Views 6.x-3.0-alpha3, and VBO 6.x-1.x-dev (the latest version).
I have a view set up with VBO to administer the roughly 4000 nodes on my site. The view displays 500 nodes at a time, with a pager on the bottom of the view.
When I select all of the nodes on the page and execute an operation (for example, Save Post), everything works fine. However, when I select all of the nodes on the page and then select all of the ~4000 nodes in the view and execute an operation, I get this error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function init_pager() on a non-object in ...sites/all/modules/views/includes/view.inc on line 119
Any sense for what could be causing this?

infojunkieThis is a bug in Views-6.x-3.0-alpha3. Upgrading to Views-6.x-3.x-dev solves the problem. Can you confirm this on your side?
brycesenz commentedI can semi-confirm.
The original problem is fixed, but replaced with this error:
Warning: Got a packet bigger than 'max_allowed_packet' bytes query: INSERT INTO watchdog (uid, type, message, variables, severity, link, location, referer, hostname, timestamp) VALUES (1, 'php', '%message in %file on line %line.', 'a:4:{s:6:\"%error\";s:12:\"user warning\";s:8:\"%message\";s:10114993:\"Got a packet bigger than 'max_allowed_packet' bytes\nquery: UPDATE batch SET token = '1b159c13d082d7568859583d57659136', batch = 'a:10:{s:4:\\"sets\\";a:1:{i:0;a:10:{s:7:\\"sandbox\\";a:0:{}s:7:\\"results\\";a:0:{}s:7:\\"success\\";b:0;s:10:\\"operations\\";a:3728:{i:0;a:2:{i:0;s:36:\\"_views_bulk_operations_batch_process\\";i:1;a:2:{i:0;s:5:\\"10185\\";i:1;O:8:\\"stdClass\\":14:{s:5:\\"nid_1\\";s:5:\\"10185\\";s:14:\\ in /home/traillo1/public_html/MYSITE/includes/database.mysqli.inc on line 128

infojunkieThat's an unrelated issue. You should increase your MySQL max_allowed_packet setting in my.cnf, or file a different issue.
brycesenz commentedYes, sorry. I did figure that out, but forgot to post back indicating that switching to dev had solved the problem. This is closed from my end.
shaneonabike commentedI upgraded to 6.x-1.11-beta1 but it didn't work properly I am still getting this error. Do I need to do something different? Perhaps reset the actual view?
UPDATE: Reverting the view didn't do much so I'm kinda stuck?
infojunkie@ShaneOnABike: you need to use Views-6.x-3.x-dev.
