on site home page (domain.com/) there is a H2 link that links to /node (domain.com/node) Bad duplicate content

on site home page (domain.com/) there is a H2 link that links to /node (domain.com/node) Bad duplicate content

I cant seem to get rid of this h2 link. for seo purposes i dont want my home page linking to a duplicate of itself at /node
how can I change this? and i dont understand the purpose for internal linking structure hard coded like this. (assuming it is hard coded - as i cant find a admin setting to change this)
