Looks nice,

I'm fairly new at creating drupal based sites. I'm getting on quite well but always struggle with the front page.

How did you create the "Welcome" section on your front page?

Which modules did you utilise in your site?

Thank you John.i used the mission field at site information(Administer-->Site Information) for my "Welcome" page.

You can use panels and views to work out your front page layout.Panel is a great module to use especially for your front page and layout design, unfortunately i didn't use the panel for my front page but rather posted the other pages to show on the front.

below are the modules i utilised on the site..

CCk,Date,DDBlock slideshow,views,webform,captch,jquery,quick taps etc

I used the cck to create the news content type and ddblock slideshow for the top banner slideshow and views for the blog and news/event.

I hope u find this useful.
