Iam working on jgrowl, extend some stuff.

added special handling for dsm to not show them in the growl
removed some css as its is unneeded
updated jgrowl to the current code

I have given you maintainer access to this project.

I reviewed your code quickly and all looks good. Please just fix the formatting from what you added to be inline with the current file. Also please move the init method you added to be the first function defined.

You can commit when ready and also feel free to make a release for the project. I would suggest a beta1 to start.

You interested in doing the d7 version as well?

I will check it with coder and move the init method. Iam fine with a beta1 release for sure.

I think the D7 port wont be to hard, but currently iam pretty frozen on D6, so dont expect me to do this the next future. Generally i will port every module i use when i switch over to D7 :)

the module is currently here https://github.com/EugenMayer/jgrowl and we use it very active. Its not perfect but it works and i will continue my work on it maybe in the end of the year. Anyway, i will push the code here to d.o. and release, but iam just to busy right now, the code can be found there anyway
