Facebook Connect, otherwise known as Facebook for Websites, enables you to integrate the social and personal features of Facebook into your own website. You can add a variety of Facebook's social plugin features such as the "Like" button and the "Activity Feed" with just a few lines of HTML which can make all the difference in creating an engaging user experience.
You can also implement Facebook's registration and login applications on your own site with a single pop-up box that gives you access to a user's e-mail address, real name, profile picture and their network of friends. And, you can reach your user's friends by publishing site content into the social graph by using Open Graph Meta Tags. All of these techniques are ways to drive and increase growth and quality of data, while weaving social integration and personal engagement into the context of your website.
