Hi all,
I would like to set up a kind of free 'yellow pages' to catalog all groups interested in a particular matter, ad I would like to do it with Drupal.
My idea would be to let unregistered people submit new groups and these information would be moderated by registered moderators. These nodes, once moderated, would be assigned to anonymous user.
For editing groups, I would like to let anyone (not registered) request a modification, specifying a valid e-mail and the reason for the modification.
The would receive an e-mail with the edit link for the node. This invite would work for 1 day then would expire.
By editing the node, drupal should create a new revision (with the reason for the request inserted in log revision information) that would be moderated, and, once moderated, the ownership of the node should be assigned to a new user, whose e-mail is the one specified for editing.
In my opinion this kind of collaboration model would simplify content insertion and modification in a kind of wiki model, but without the complication of a registration mechanism.
Has anyone implemented or tought about such a model ?
As far as I can see there are no modules for all these functions. I found revision moderation modules, but the part related to modification requests and custom moderation are missing.
I'm thinking to write my own modules.
Any suggestions ? Anyone interested in the same approach or anyone that already faced this need ? I am available for a co-operation for development.
thanks for your help
