After upgrading Drupal core to version 6.19, I started seeing non-fatal PHP warnings in my error logs in a couple of places where the Link module references variables that have not yet been set. I'm attaching a patchfile that I used to make the warnings go away.

It's been four years since this bug, and no one's touched it. If you need to you can re-open this ticket, but I suspect you don't need this fixed anymore.
