Slider showing wrong images on other AJAX actions

Hi,

I'm having an issue with views nivo slider if other AJAX functionality is loading on the same page.

Just hover over the main menu so that an ajax action (submenu loading) is being triggered. Do that several times until the slider does no more show the slides but just the page logo.

The misbehaviour could be reproduced in firefox and google chrome browsers.

I found out, that it's not only the menu but every AJAX action that makes the error occur!

JQuery used is 1.2.6 because of other dependencies and generally works fine. I hope that that's not the reason for the problem and it would be nice if you could check, if there might be another reason.
