I created a schedule and configured to keep 5 copies, but every time I go to this destination I find only one (latest) copy as if I have configured to keep only 1 instead of 5. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? Thank you.

hi,

some problem here as well.

I have scheduled backup that is set to keep 5 copies. However there is only one file in the scheduled backups directory.

is this a file system configuration problem?

Backup and Migrate 6.x-2.2
Drupal 6.19
Apache 2
Mysql 5
PHP 5

I also tried to set it so that it should not delete existing files.

However - when I checked after the time period set to make backups, I see only one file.

What is the problem here?

I noticed this problem after upgrading to the 2.x version of the module - I did not experience this problem with the 1.x version.

Thanks

I doubt if it has to do with the upgrade since I have exactly the same version 2.2 running just fine on another server. It is only the one that is hosted on a Dreamhost servers that is not functioning properly. I started testing with different settings, destinations to see if I can get it to work properly.

I tried different things - such as creating new profile, changing number of copies to keep, changing schedule frequency etc, but then I ended up modifying default profile by adding custom file name. After that module started functioning correctly - i.e. creating scheduled backups on schedule and keeping only the number that was configured. Sorry, I can't say for sure what helped, but it works fine on multiple Drupal6 sites. For example I configured to create backups once a day and keep only 5 latest copies.
