What we expected and intended was that only the affected beta users would get the warning. Unfortunately that was not the case.

I've removed the Security update flag from the beta 3 release as it is to confusing for the stable release users; they should not upgrade to unstable.

Just to let you know , the flag may have been removed but I'm still getting alert warnings . No biggy if it was just on the update page but the general warning is up on all admin areas thus defeating the purpose of having warnings . It lessens the likehood of checking and perhaps missing some other alert . Anyhow , just letting you know. Not fixed for me.

Okay , thanks Heine. Turned it off on the modules page and then back on and everything is good again.

Same here, still the red security warning on all admin pages:

There are security updates available for one or more of your modules or themes. To ensure the security of your server, you should update immediately! See the available updates page for more information.

This is highly irritating, but not affecting the module's functionality (setting priority to minor).

@asb . Turn it off ( unenable ) on the modules page - save - then turn it back on.
