Disabling/Uninstalling/Removing Video trashes theme CSS

After enabling and disabling, uninstalling, or removing Video, theme CSS is no longer valid and pages are not displayed without styling. (No, clearing the cache did not help). Reenabling Video resolves the issue (but I'd like to remove it completely).
