First, great module! Also, the module normally works perfectly with nodereferences, however it doesn't work when the nodereference list is generated by a view. I didn't get a change to look into the code to see why this is happening, but I will investigate further and will report back.

I'm seeing the same, but only for anonymous users. Do you require steps to reproduce?
I'm afraid caching might be involved...

I also am experiencing issues with the node reference pre-populate field.

"/node/add/card-orders?edit[field_node_reference][0][nid][nid]=40"

Doesn't load 40 into the node reference field.

You should check how your nodereference field is set to complete - what happens, for example, if you replace "40" with the title of your node?

I suspect that this is a duplicate of #883980: New field formats are necessary in Prepopulate 6.x-2.x
