I installed the internationalization module in my local drupal installation (laptop running latest wampserver) and it worked fine. Once I moved it to my webserver, it gave me the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /hermes/web10/b291/pow.marcofig/htdocs/gems/sites/all/modules/i18n/i18nsync/i18nsync.module on line 319

I tried reinstalling Drupal on my webserver, one item at a time, followed by the internationalization module and the error persisted.

Can someone help please?
