Amberjack is a lightweight Open Source library, enabling webmasters to create cool site tours.
By guiding your site visitors, Amberjack tours can greatly improve the usability of your website.
The Amberjack JavaScript library is lightweight (~4K), stable, LGPL licensed, browser compatible, set up in 2 minutes & super-easy to customize.
Best of all, nothing must be installed or learned. Use the Tour Wizard to create great looking and helpful tours for your site or intranet application

you can edit the .css to match the style to your site, also if you like post it to the lib. site share it with the world

My pleasure Emiliano, It came out today i presume, so its fresh :)

As much as the UI idea and function itself, I also liked the way that he put it into a 'GPL product' with clear presentation, a 'how to' and demo + themeable function and creating 'share your theme' community idea... kudos Arash

Compare with other similar scripts i.e jQ lightbox, the idea and script has lot of potential and its versatile and applications of it expendable, could be used as photo gallery, video browser, music browser, slideshow a tutorial presenter -for the Drupal 'book' pages!? , a tooltip/helptip, ecommerce product previewer, mini browser 'iframe' like js'frame' etc.

and its nice to see you find it useful UI enhanchment. I have not tried yet though :)
- I am not a coder of .js or .php to give back to the community. So just trying to share what i stumble upon that i find useful or sometimes any idea blinks in my mind for Drupal and for the community, i post it ... :)

I'll have to give this a try on one of my websites. Maybe more people will participate if they have a better idea of what's there.

Thanks for sharing,

Michelle

Yeah -- this is something I've been looking for for a long time -- I particularly like the "embed video" feature.

Thanks for sharing this.

I just posted the module that allows users to manage and run tours created with Amberjack:

Will it work for 4.7?

I was tremendously excited when I learned of the this module, but it all fizzled for me when I saw it's for 5.0. I'd really like to see this for 4.7, too. Any plans to backport it?

edit: Thanks for creating a version for 4.7!

The 4.7 version works great!
