Drupal 5.0-beta1 was working fine in my system while running PHP 5.1 under Arch Linux.

After upgrading to PHP 5.2 I've found an "Access denied" just as described at http://drupal.org/node/92517.

Furthermore, after downgrading PHP to 5.1 Drupal 5.0-beta1 is working fine again.
