I just installed the "bleeding edge" version so that my Media YouTube module would work. I got a white screen of death. After backing out to the Sept 22 version everything is back and working, (except the Media You Tube module). I was forewarned!

alex ua commentedThis is almost certainly a problem with the dev version of Media: Youtube, which was shooting off lots of errors when I tried it. Can you try the 6.x-1.1 version of Media: Youtube along with the 6.x-2.1 version of emfield?

willazilla commentedHi Alex,
Took the versions off their production .info files as follows:
Media You Tube - version = "6.x-1.1"
emfield - version = "6.x-2.1"
I'm here to help! Let me know if there's something else.
The above versions are what I backed out to. They do not render WSOD, but Media YouTube doesn't download thumbs from YouTube.

ljrweb commentedI get the WSOD after trying to install the module :(

Durrok commentedSame. Nothing in my logs to indicate what the issue is either. I tried it with Embedded Video Field 6.x-2.3 and the latest dev version as well as Media: YouTube 6.x-1.1 and the latest dev version. The site WSODs as soon as I enable Media: YouTube.

Durrok commentedAlright I still don't know what exactly is causing the issue but I did manage to fix it.
Best I can tell the issue is either with the old emfield video content field, the upgrade process, or both.

modulist commentedI ran into the same problem upgrading from the old version of emfield and adding on the YouTube module. Unfortunately, I didn't have the same luck avoiding the WSOD.

andrewmacpherson commentedThis WSOD could possibly be related to:
#895270: Fatal error: Class 'Zend_Uri_Http' not found

aaron commentedyou need to follow the instructions at http://drupal.org/node/672472 (particularly step 6) where you delete the entire folder of the emfield module before updating. in particular, ensure your providers folders are empty.
