An older version of views had the filter dropdown but you used to be able to set some filters to be viewable and some not. I cant see how to make filters non-viewable. Any idea?
e.g. I have a load of data from around the world. I want to set up one table view for the UK and one for the USA but don't want to show the users the filter dropdown. any way of hiding it??
Thanks - apologies if this "feature" already exists - I cant see where to write such support requests on this however!

merlinofchaos commentedUsers will only see the filter dropdown if the filter is 'exposed' and in the exposed filters set. So if you have one that's exposed and you don't want it exposed anymore, just go to the exposed filters fieldset and click the trashcan icon next to it.
