Trying to schedule a program from sometime Saturday night to sometime Sunday morning throws up an error saying that you can't schedule a program before it starts.

yeah, that's by design. it's a weekly schedule. i suppose the error messge could be more helpful though.

Yeah, but unfortunately it makes it impossible to schedule a program from 11pm-midnight on a Saturday. Is there a workaround?

my bad, i just confirmed that this is a bug. i knew i had a program scheduled for that time slot but it turns out that it was imported from the old schedule format. i'll try to get this fixed this evening.

i've commited a fix for this, now you can schedule up to 12pm on saturday night.
