It looks like I'm going to need a pager of some description to split my articles down a bit, preferable with Ajax support. I've looked at a couple of modules, but I'm not sure they are being maintained or updated for Drupal 7.

I did like the look of the 'paging' module module, but it looks like it's been in beta3 status since '09

can anyone provide any recommendations?

Dont use Drupal 7 yet. it is still in Alpha (Not Production Ready). Drupal 6 will be around for a while

I do intend to continue using D6 for a while, I'm just looking for a suitable module, that will work when D7 does come out.

what are others using? I assume I'm not the only one that considers functionality with D7 when looking at which module or other solutions?
