This is related to #657710: Block visibility by language selection (i18nblocks) is not respected.

With the domain_blocks module one can indicate whether to show a block on a domain or not. Context doesn't respect that setting. It would be an option to create a context per domain but it would be nicer if context respected the domain_blocks settings.

There is an module to integrate with DA.

I know you said you rather use Domain Block, but that would end up being using more modules than needed, right?
